The April Mid Week Run, held on April 12 attracted 17 members vehicles.
The focus of the rally was the new Rangitata Irrigation Scheme. The rally went out to Clandeboye past several ponds and irrigation races all being fed by the main ponds at Rangitata-Arundel bridge. There we were given a very good talk about the scheme. Following this we moved along the road to Victorian Woodworks, for a picnic afternoon tea in their beautiful garden. Lovely sunny day made the outing really tops.
